Hi there! Welcome to my collection of VW Golf MK4 retrofit projects, guides, and parts I've developed. I have owned my Golf for 7 years now, which started off as the basic trim level, but over the years I have treated it with quite some upgrades.
Some of the upgrades are based on OEM parts and electronics, such as adding remote locking, electric windows and alarm. Other changes are more "OEM+", like installing a MK7 multifunction steering wheel with functional buttons for media controls, cruise and MFA using a custom control module.
On this website I aim to share the knowledge I have acquired while working on my Golf, and provide the hardware and instructions required to make these modifications as straight forward as possible for others.
